SURPRISE Carpool Changes This Morning - Thursday, December 13, 2018

NO MORNING or AFTERNOON CARPOOL until further notice. Please park and walk your children to their classrooms in the morning and afternoon. We arrived at school this morning to find out that the Town of Cary has closed our Kilmayne entrance. We do not know how long the Kilmayne entrance will be closed. It seems that the information we get from the Town of Cary is sometimes accurate, and sometimes it is not. We will keep you posted as we know more. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

No School for GFCC on Wednesday, December 12, 2018

All schools in the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) will operate on a 3-Hour Delay on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Since GFCC follows the Wake County Public School System's calendar as closely as possible, our Inclement Weather Policy states that if WCPSS opens 3 hours late, GFCC will be closed; therefore, GFCC will be CLOSED on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Carpool to Resume Thursday, December 6

Morning and Afternoon Carpool will resume tomorrow (Thursday, December 6). As you have probably already noticed, no work was done on Kilmayne these last two days as originally scheduled by the Town of Cary. New construction work dates will be scheduled soon, and we will keep you posted on when those new dates are put on the calendar and the status of carpool for the new dates. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, but we are making carpool decisions based on the information given to Greenwood Forest Baptist Church (GFBC) by the Town of Cary. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

NO CARPOOL on Tuesday, December 4 and Wednesday, December 5

Due to road construction on Kilmayne, the GFBC/GFCC driveway on Kilmayne will be blocked off. This is the final phase of the water tower project. Use Maynard Road to enter and park to walk your child to their classroom. There will be no parking on the Kilmayne side of our building since there will be road debris that may damage car paint. Hopefully this will only take 2 days..... Sandy Duncan With the large amount of traffic expected, PLEASE use caution and be extra careful in the parking lot and entrances.
