Teacher Feature

You have read their biographies, and you have seen their staff photos.  Wouldn't it be fun to know our fabulous teachers and staff in a fun and different kind of way?  Here is your chance!  Each Tuesday, we will feature one of our teachers and staff in the "Teacher Feature" blog.  This week we are featuring:

 

 

Tricia Jones

 

 

If you were a crayon, what color would you be?  Fuchsia

 

When is your birthday?  May 5

 

Favorite season?  Spring because of all the beautiful flowers and trees that begin to bloom.

 

Were you named after anyone?  My daddy worked in a textile mill in the department where they dyed fabric.  One night they were dying a bolt of cloth called, "The Patricia."  He liked the name and came home to tell Mama about it.  I guess she liked it too.  So my name is Patricia, but later it was shortened to my nickname, Tricia.

 

What is the first thing you notice about people?  Their height since my men tower over me.  My husband is 6'3" and my sons are 6'.  I am 5'4"  :-)

 

What is the farthest you've been from home?  Hawaii

 

What color is your house?  Gray with black shutters, red door and white trim

 

Favorite drink?  Sweet Tea -- the champagne of the south

 

Favorite snack?  Crunchy things -- Kettle chips, Kettle corn, sometimes a spoonful of peanut butter, and then there is chocolate

 

What kind of books do you read?  Books that have southern settings; magazines

 

What sports do you enjoy?  I like to watch all different kinds of sports.  My men enjoy football, baseball, hockey and basketball, so I try to keep up with the news on their favorite teams.  It makes for good conversation when we can all be together.

 

Favorite team / teams?   NC State Wolfpack, Furman University Paladins, Carolina Panthers

 

Favorite place to eat out?  I have many:  Firebirds, Cracker Barrel, Panera, Chipotle, Noodles and Company

 

Favorite Shops?  Loft, Garden Supply, Target, Belk, Home Goods

 

Eye color?  Brown

 

Favorite smells?  Lavender, clean fresh smells, spa scents
