Time is quickly approaching for our Family Fun Night event this Friday, January 6, 2017. We, at GFCC, are so looking forward to providing you with a family night out where we will serve you dinner and provide some fun and entertainment for you and your children. This is a great opportunity for you to meet other GFCC families in a setting that is not classroom related.
Remember that tickets are due in the office by Wednesday morning, Jan. 4. The order forms went home a few weeks ago. If you lost yours, we have extra in the office. The chef needs a head count by Thursday morning when she shops. The menu is: spaghetti (meat and veggie options), salad, bread, birthday cake, tea, lemonade, and water.
Audio Kudzu will perform for the parents while the children enjoy a magic show from Fish the Magish. Here is a little introduction to both of them.
Audio Kudzu is a nine-piece band made up of friends who have enjoyed playing together for over 20 years. With the recent addition of two vocalists to the band, they cover many styles of music from swing to jazz and rock classics to disco. With tunes like Jump, Jive and Wail, Moon River, I Feel Good, and Boogie Shoes, the rhythm section, horns and vocalists combine to keep you entertained. Come on out to tap your feet and clap your hands to some great tunes.
Fish the Magish (aka Mike Fisher) is a professional magician, specializing in programs for schools, libraries, and churches. He is a delight and appeals to people of all ages. You will be rolling with laughter at his spontaneity, and fun as he performs his illusions (or tricks of the mind as he calls them). Don't miss his entertaining, lighthearted performance.
