Welcome New Staff Member Lindsey Clasen

August 10, 2017

Lindsey Clasen grew up in Lakewood, Colorado.  She and her family moved to the Raleigh, North Carolina area when Lindsey was in the 10th grade.  She has lived in various parts of North Carolina ever since.

Lindsey attended South College - Asheville where she earned an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies.

Lindsey and her husband live in Apex and have three amazing sons -- one in middle school, one in elementary school, and one attending Greenwood Forest Children's Center.  The Clasen family joined GFCC in 2012.

Lindsey has always been involved with children in one way or another.  When her boys were very young, Lindsey was a nanny for a little girl.  She has volunteered with the PTA for many years and has been a Parent Reader in her children's classrooms.  This past year Lindsey volunteered with Interact at their holiday bazaar. She enjoyed her experience so much that she would like to make this an annual tradition.

Last year, Lindsey started substitute teaching at GFCC and became a floater in the 2's classrooms.  She delights in working with toddler-age children and loves being around them again.

Lindsey enjoys reading, spending time with her boys and taking them to all of their various activities.  She is an animal lover and her family has a dog and two cats.  Her favorite vacation is a nice relaxing week at the beach.

We welcome Lindsey Clasen to the staff of GFCC as a co-teacher in the Busy Bees class and a 2's floater.
