Our Bright and Shiny Superstars

The Superstars have been shining brightly this school year! September found them:
busy making new friends,
sharing about each other and
learning what it means to be good friends.
They also reviewed their colors and shapes.
October has been filled with a lot of Fall fun and learning about the changes this season brings.
The Superstars enjoyed doing apple tastings and reviewing their findings by sorting and graphing their results.
Our unit about community helpers included a visit by firefighters with the town of Cary.
We have also jumped in feet first with the "Handwriting without Tears" curriculum working on writing letters and numbers.
In addition, the kids have been learning about "Letterland" and its alphabet friends such as Lucy Lamplight, Harry Hatman, Firefighter Fred and more.
