Kerry was born and grew up in Maryland. After High School, she attended the University of Maryland, in College Park, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She spent several years working in higher education at the University.
Kerry and her husband, Michael, moved to Cary in 2011. They have two boys--the oldest attended GFCC and the youngest is now attending.
Kerry began substitute teaching at GFCC in 2016. She also enjoys volunteering at Penny Road Elementary, where their oldest son now attends.
Kerry is a very talented fundraiser and helped GFCC raise about $2,000 for our playground.
She and Michael love taking the boys to sporting events for NC State Wolfpack teams. In her spare time, she enjoys taking the boys to area playgrounds, creating new activities for kids, cooking, reading contemporary fiction, and feeding their backyard birds.
We welcome Kerry to the staff of GFCC as a floater in the Tuesday/Thursday 2's class.
