Lori grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Auburn University and received her degree in Early Childhood Education. Having been in the education field for 15 years, Lori has taught preschool through 2nd grade. Lori has been an Army wife for 16 years and through the years has volunteered with many different communities and government agencies. She loves serving the local and military communities where they have been stationed and seeing children learn and grow from all over the world.
Lori and her husband, Ben, have three active daughters ranging in ages from 15, 13, and 10. Their girls attend Wake County Public Schools in Apex where they also live. The family goes to Elevation and Hope Community Church.
Lori loves being a mom and an Army wife. She also enjoys running, working out and volunteering within the community.
We welcome Lori to the staff of GFCC as a co-teacher in the Yellow Bears Transition Kindergarten class.
