2019 Dr. Bill Jones Scholarship Raffle Started Sunday, November 17
November 18, 2019
The Dr. Bill Jones Scholarship Raffle is the main source of income for our GFCC Scholarship Fund. Before school began in August, the classroom teachers chose the classroom theme for their basket. Parents were then asked to donate or solicit donations from local merchants. Baskets and boxes were created and a list of its contents and a value of the basket/box was determined.
Baskets will be displayed in the Media Center from
Sunday, November 17 to
Monday, November 25 at 10:00.
Silent Auction Option -- We have one basket available for a Silent Auction Opportunity -- Couple's Night Out, Valued at $420. A Bid sheet is next to the basket with a minimum bid posted. You are welcome to write in your bid for the basket. Check back frequently or call the GFCC office to see if you have been overbid. You can then decide if you want to raise your bid.
Raffle Tickets-- The baskets and boxes, along with other classroom venue options, have Raffle Cans or Boxes in which you place your raffle tickets.
$1.00 = 1 Raffle Ticket

🍎Thursday and Friday, November 21 and 22 -- There will be No Carpool in the morning or afternoon. This will give you a chance to look over the baskets, boxes and classroom venue options and make those last minute raffle ticket purchases.
🍎Monday, November 25 at 10:00 am -- There will be No Morning Carpool. Final raffle ticket purchases can be made until 10:00 am.
🍎Monday, November 25 at 10:30 am -- Raffle ticket tubs will be collected and winning tickets will be drawn at 10:30 am. Winners will be notified within 24 hours.
In any drawing, there is a possibility that one individual may possibly win multiple times. Chances increase with the number of tickets purchased and the number of tickets stacked into a favorite basket. The rest is left up to "chance" ... or ... "a luck of the draw." We will cap a family's ability to win more than two baskets, boxes, or classroom venues.
