Learn and Grow with the Building Blocks
Feb 17 2016
The Building Blocks began the month of February by exploring the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science in Raleigh. They observed animals, plants, fossils, and dinosaur bones!
After reading the Eric Carle The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, each child was encouraged to paint an animal any color that they chose. The Building Blocks were quite creative. We had red crocodiles, pink bunnies, yellow bears, rainbow colored horses...and more! Take a look at our creations in the hallway.
After a fun-filled Valentine party, we are now focusing on historic Presidents. Who knows, maybe we have a future President in the classroom!
