Jan Fairchild 

Lead Teacher MWF 3s

Jan was born in Augusta, Georgia but grew up in Decatur, Georgia which is a suburb of Atlanta. She attended Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia and received a B.S. degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Jan worked in a hospital until she moved to Dallas, Texas where she met her husband.    Jan has been a preschool teacher for over 20 years teaching ages 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds. For two years, Jan worked for the Wake County Public School System at Project Enlightenment in a Demonstration Preschool Classroom (also known as a Title One and More at Four classroom).    Jan and her husband of 40 years live in Holly Springs. They have two daughters and five grandchildren.    Jan enjoys traveling abroad and has recently fallen in love with Montana. Jan loves gardening, interior design, walking, and paddle boarding. She attends Hope Community Church and volunteers in the Children's Ministry.

Candice Pepin

Assistant Teacher MWF  3s     

Candice grew up in Apex, NC and attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) and Chapel Hill (UNC). She received a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from UNCW and a Master's in Social Work from UNC.    Candice has worked with children in several different areas: Recruiting and Licensing Foster Parents in Wilmington, NC Elementary School Social Worker for New Hanover County Schools Elementary and Middle School Social Worker for the Wake County Public School System. A Preschool Substitute Teacher and an Assistant Teacher in the 3-year-old program at the Methodist Children's Center in Cary.​    Candice has been married to her husband, Dave, for thirteen years. They, along with their two daughters and Candice's mother-in-law, live in Apex. Their two daughters are in third and sixth grade.    In her spare time, Candice enjoys hanging out with her family, backyard basketball, reading, walking on the beach, coloring, crossword puzzles, and snuggling with the family's pets.
