The teachers of GFCC have a wide range of educational backgrounds and professional experience. Collaboration is key to creating classrooms that work toward common developmental goals while allowing individual gifts, talents and personalities to shine.

All teachers maintain up-to-date CPR and First Aid training, including epi-pen storage and administration. Greenwood Forest Baptist Church performs a national background check on all GFCC staff members every 3 years in addition to completion of the church's child safety training class. Teachers are required to attend at least 3 continuing education workshops each year. These are provided by GFCC's participation in the professional organization, Cary Area AECP, which consists of several non-profit preschools in the Cary area.
