Greenwood Forest Children's Center teachers work in a co-teaching situation with equal responsibility and authority. Each class has two teachers with an assigned number of students. All teachers are CPR and First Aid certified every 2 years. Administering Epi-pen medication is included in this training.
Greenwood Forest Baptist Church performs a national background check on all GFCC staff, every 2-3 years. In addition, completion of the church's child safety training class is required of all staff. Teachers are required to attend at least 3 Continuing Education Workshops each year. These are provided by GFCC's participation in the professional organization, Cary Area AECP, which consists of several non-profit preschools in the Cary area.
