The teachers of GFCC have a wide range of educational backgrounds and professional experience. Collaboration is key to creating classrooms that work toward common developmental goals while allowing individual gifts, talents and personalities to shine. ​

All teachers maintain up-to-date CPR and First Aid training, including epi-pen storage and administration. Greenwood Forest Baptist Church performs a national background check on all GFCC staff members every 3 years in addition to completion of the church's child safety training class. Teachers are required to attend at least 3 continuing education workshops each year. These are provided by GFCC's participation in the professional organization, Cary Area AECP, which consists of several non-profit preschools in the Cary area.
