Elizabeth Wolber
Director
With a lifelong passion for early childhood education, Elizabeth is proud to serve as the director of Greenwood Forest Children's Center.
She holds a BS in Psychology with a focus on Early Childhood Development.
Elizabeth spent three years as the director of Methodist Children's Center in downtown Cary before joining GFCC in 2001.

Elizabeth is dedicated to creating a strong community for children and their families, fostering an environment where both can thrive. She values her staff of dedicated teachers and works collaboratively to ensure that every child feels safe, loved and inspired to learn.
​
One of the highlights of her day is greeting the children each morning. Watching a child grow from toddlerhood through their readiness for Kindergarten is an honor she never takes for granted.

Elizabeth lives in Cary with her husband and two daughters.

Elizabeth Dunn
Assistant Director
Elizabeth brings extensive experience in early childhood education administration and leadership. She is dedicated to cultivating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.
She works closely with the GFCC Director to implement engaging, play-based curriculum, supporting teaching staff and fostering strong partnerships with families.

Elizabeth's passion for child development shines through in her enthusiastic approach, ensuring all children feel safe, seen and inspired to learn.

Elizabeth enjoys reading, cooking, going to the beach (boating) and spending time with her husband whom she met while they both were attending Florida State University. She also enjoys time with her two sons (19 & 22) when they are home from college.
